Your information, complaints and safety

What we collect

• Your name and mobile number, to make your account and verify the number.
• If you have a business: its details, a 30-second video of the shop or a photo with its location, and a GST or Udyam number if you want.
• The shop video and any owner ID (never Aadhaar) are seen only by the admin and deleted within 30 days of the decision.
• Counts of how often Call or WhatsApp was tapped on a business page, never who tapped.

Why

Only to run your account, stop fake shops, fake numbers and fake reviews, and give you the service you asked for. We never sell your number or give it to advertisers.

Who sees it

Your number never shows on the site. A shop's number shows only if the owner says yes, with the date it was last checked. Reviews show only a first name.

When a shop changes its number

The old number stays on the page until the new number sends us a WhatsApp code and the admin has checked it. This stops fraud with fake numbers.

Reporting wrong information

Every business page has "Report wrong information". When three different people report it (five for a verified business), the page is hidden until the admin checks. We never tell the business who reported.

If you were cheated, call 1930 at once or complain at cybercrime.gov.in.

How long

For as long as your account is open. Close it and we delete everything within 30 days, unless the law says otherwise.

Your rights

• To see, download, correct and delete your information ("Me" page → Your data).
• To withdraw consent at any time.
• To complain: to us first (below), then to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children: 18 and over only

Making an account needs the tick "I am 18 or older". People under 18 cannot make an account. If one was made by mistake, tell us and we delete it.

Complaint timelines

• We acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
• We resolve it within 15 days.
• Someone's intimate images, or a page pretending to be someone: removed within 24 hours.
• Not satisfied with our answer? You can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee (gac.gov.in) within 30 days.

If data leaks: our plan

1. Stop it at once: change keys, close the misused access, record what was affected.
2. Tell the people affected without delay, on WhatsApp: what happened, the risk, what you can do, and how to reach us.
3. Tell the Data Protection Board without delay, and send it the full report within 72 hours.
4. Write here what we changed so it does not happen again.

Who runs this site

Musafir Infotech. The site shows what people and businesses post, so it is an intermediary under the IT Rules 2021.
